A little about me, my name is Kendall and I have been a Vegan for 9 years. I work and practice as a Nutritional Consultant in Santa Monica, CA. Five years after becoming a Vegan I wanted to know more about food and nutrition. So I began studying more about nutrition and I got my degree in 2009 from the Global College of Natural Medicine in Santa Cruz, California.

When I decided to “Go Vegan” I had to scour the web and search many different sites to obtain data involving the issues that were pivotal in my decision to turn vegan. The information I found was scattered and much of the most important information was buried or was "way too hippie" content for me. I needed science not liberal, dread-locked, hocus-pocus; just "go vegan" because it is better was not going to be enough for me. If I were going to have intelligent, articulate conversations about why I chose a vegan lifestyle I needed ammo and lots of it.
When I went Vegan I not only needed to know where to find healthy Vegan recipes but I also needed to know the health benefits of a vegan diet. I needed to know everything about factory farming and bycatch. I wanted to know about the positive environmental impact a vegan diet supports. I wanted to read the best books and watch the most comprehensive documentaries. I wanted to learn recipes and different meal preparation techniques. I wanted to know what the best vegan products were across the board from shoes to ice cream. I wanted FACTS and I wanted them easily accessible. I wanted to know how to...
